Marymount University students learn how to learn
Ė by asking questions, probing beyond the surface, and working
one-on-one with Marymountís scholarly faculty in a variety
of disciplines. Itís called inquiry-based learning, and itís
a fundamental facet of Marymountís DISCOVER program, which
fosters and supports research and creative activities in all
academic programs at the University.

coordinates the Office of Undergraduate Research, the First-Year
Experience classes, the annual Student Research Conference,
student conference travel support, and the Summer Research
Program for students and faculty mentors.
