  Find Electronic Journals (e-Journals)

An electronic journal, or e-Journal, provides access to full text articles online. Marymount subscribes to e-Journals directly through individual publishers and through specific journal collections and databases.

Electronic Journal Finders:

1. e-Journals at Marymount
Use the "MU e-Journals" link on the ALADIN home page to determine whether Marymount subscribes to a specific e-Journal.

  • Search by exact titles or words in the journal title.
  • Search results will include links to either:
    • Individual online journals
    • Databases or electronic journal collections containing the journal searched

2. e-Journals at all WRLC Libraries
Use the Electronic Journal Title Finder or the "WRLC e-Journals" link on the ALADIN home page to find information on e-Journals available at any of the WRLC libraries.

  • Search by exact titles or words in the journal title.
  • Search results will include links to either:
    • Individual online journals
    • Databases or electronic journal collections containing the journal searched
  • If the journal is available through another library's collection, you can use it by visiting their library. Take your Marymount BlueCard because some libraries require an ID to enter the building.

Find Non-Electronic / Print Journals:

If the journal is not electronic or the specific article is not in the issues available online, check the ALADIN catalog to see if Marymount or another WRLC library has a print or microfilm copy of the issue.

Be sure to ask for help when you need it.
