Media Guide to Faculty Experts
Marymount University has professors who can speak with authority on topics ranging from business ethics, Internet marketing, and the sweatshop labor problem to persistent viral infections, the effects of media on children, and congenital disorders related to cocaine and alcohol abuse. Articles on Arthurian legends, global warming, cryptography, and second language teaching and acquisition could all benefit from the expertise of a Marymount faculty member!
Addressing media requests is a top priority of Marymount’s Office of University Communications. Because faculty class schedules and office hours vary, please call/e-mail Laurie Callahan or Shelley Dutton, and they will facilitate contact with the desired faculty member within your deadline. They can reach professors at home or office, or even in the classroom. They also know the faculty and can advise who would be best on a given topic.
